​We’re so excited that you’re considering bringing a Buckeye Valley puppy into your home! From the moment a puppy is born to their very first day with you, our goal is to make this experience as joyful and smooth as possible.

Puppy Pricing & Deposits
Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies are $1,000 each. A non-refundable deposit of $300 will secure your spot on the Wait List. Deposits are applied toward the full price, which is due in full at or before your puppy’s send-home date. Wait List deposits can be made via Cash or Venmo, and the remainder is to be paid in cash at the time of puppy pick-up.

 

Wait List & Selection Process
Once your deposit is received, you’ll be added to our Wait List. We accept up to six deposits per litter. The selection process begins when the puppies are around 5 weeks old, when their coloring, patching, and ticking are easier to see (though these markings will continue to develop as they grow). Puppy selection is determined by the order in which deposits are received.

To keep the puppies healthy, selections are handled virtually but if you feel you must come in person, we’re happy to make accommodations so you can safely meet the puppies. Being on our Wait List also means you’ll receive personal updates about the pregnancy and litter, so you can follow along every step of the way.  If you’d like to join our Wait List and start your journey toward welcoming a Buckeye Valley puppy into your home, just reach out we can’t wait to meet you!

Send-Home & Pick-Up
We usually send our puppies home the first Saturday after they turn 8 weeks old. We understand every family’s schedule is different, so if you need a little flexibility, just let us know we’ll work with you to make bringing your new puppy home as smooth and special as possible.

Please note, we do not ship or transport our puppies. Buyers must pick up their puppy directly from Buckeye Valley Kennels. If a buyer chooses to ship a puppy, the Seller cannot accept responsibility for any health issues that may arise during transport (aside from genetic issues).

AKC Registration
All of our puppies come with AKC Limited Registration. This means your puppy is registered with the American Kennel Club, but their puppies cannot be registered so breeding is not permitted. If you’re ever curious about how this restriction can be lifted to allow Full AKC Registration, just reach out to us and we’ll be happy to explain the process.

 

Lifetime Support
Our relationship doesn’t stop once your puppy comes home! We’re here for you and your puppy for life whether it’s questions about training, health, or just celebrating a funny puppy moment, don’t hesitate to reach out. We also have a private Facebook group just for our Buckeye Valley puppy families, where you can share photos, ask questions, and connect with other families. We love seeing your puppies grow, learning their personalities, and hearing about all their little adventures tag us on social media and keep us part of your puppy’s story!
